PuTTY Windows version supports a number of protocols in addition to SSH and Telnet the most notable are serial, PSCP, PSFTP, Plink (a PuTTY-to-PuTTY secure transport), and MOSH (a mobile shell). The software can also be used to provide a terminal emulator for the Windows platform. Free PuTTY is portable, reasonably fast, and fairly complete. It’s written and maintained primarily by Simon Tatham.
